Robert Strauch
is a freelance carpenter, runs a subsidiary farm near Berlin and has been working since 2007 as a permaculture designer. He currently teaches at the Permakultur Akademie in Berlin. Robert considers permaculture design to be a concrete example of what Joseph Beuys intended with his famous phrase "every human being is an artist", and that we jointly shape the socio-ecological sculpture and by extension, society. Hence, permaculture is to him an artistic, scientific and also political approach - a simple concept that can help everybody to discover oneself as a co-shaper of the world.
